About this painting:
I came across this Doe a few years back in Onalaska, Washington State. It was during a hard period in my life, but seeing and being around wildlife always cheered me up.
This doe was in a group of 4 or 5. She was the closest to me as there was an apple tree nearby.
When I painted this portrait, it wasn’t about the details that I could have added. The lack of details portray a memory, but preserve a moment in time.
